This privacy policy sets out how Wool & Water uses and protects any information that you give Wool & Water when you use this website. Wool & Water is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement. Wool & Water may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes.

The stated changes to the Wool & Water Privacy Policy, effective May 24 2018, are designed to comply with the EU’s new data privacy law, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Wool & Water Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from www.woolandwater.nl (the “Site”).

We do not and will never share, disclose, sell, rent, or otherwise provide personal information to any other companies other than those listed below for specific Wool & Water marketing purposes.

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When you visit the Wool & Water, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including;

- Time zone,

- and some of the cookies that are installed on your device.

Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to Wool & Water, and information about how you interact with the Site. How we use cookies

We also offer you an 'opt in' option to join the Wool & Water Mailing List, should you change your mind after subscribing you can unsubscribe at any time via the link at the bottom of the monthly newsletter. For more information see below.

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:
Communicate with you;

 I may periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which I think you may find interesting using via the third party database and newsletter template service, Mailchimp, this communication will be using the email address which you have provided at the time of check out or registering for the newsletter.

 From time to time, I may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes. I may contact you by email or mail. We may use this requested information to customise the website according to your interests.

In general, I require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

 Internal record keeping.

 We may use the information to improve our products and services.


We also use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

You may choose to restrict the collection or use of your personal information in the following ways:

 whenever you are asked to fill in a form on the website, look for the box that you can click to indicate that you do not want the information to be used by anybody for direct marketing purposes

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

As described above, I sometimes use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications I believe may be of interest to you. Please note that I do not alter the Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.

If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact me through the contact information below.

Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that in this case, your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.

DATA RETENTION
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.
